At Mosuzo Studio, we understand that screenshots and recordings often contain your most sensitive information. Privacy is not an add-on feature — it is a core design principle of Shotera. This Privacy Policy explains, in the clearest terms possible, how we handle (or more accurately, don’t handle) your data.
Core Promise: Your Data, Your Control
Screenshots & Recordings — Always Local
All screenshots, recordings, annotations, and pinned images you create with Shotera are stored entirely on your device. We do not, and cannot, access this content. No cloud uploads, no background sync, no remote storage of any kind. Your content is 100% yours.
AI Features — Fully Offline & Local
The following AI features run entirely on your device, with no internet connection required and no data transmitted to any server:

This means even if you’re working with confidential contracts, personal IDs, medical records, or other highly sensitive content, there is no risk of data leakage — because the data never left your device in the first place.
Image Translation — Cloud API
The image translation feature is processed through cloud service providers’ translation APIs. We strictly comply with the respective cloud providers’ privacy policies and data protection standards, never share your translation data with any third party, and do not retain temporary translation data after processing. You can choose whether to enable cloud translation features in the app settings.
The Limited Data We Collect
To make Shotera better, we collect a minimal amount of anonymous usage data, including:
- Feature usage statistics (e.g., how often a feature is used) — helps us understand what to improve first
- Error and crash logs — helps us find and fix bugs
- Software version and OS information — ensures update compatibility
All data above is anonymous and aggregated. It contains no personally identifiable information. We cannot trace this data back to individual users. You can opt out of data collection in settings.
What We Don’t Do
- ❌ Upload your screenshots, recordings, or any content files
- ❌ Scan your local files
- ❌ Sell any data (we simply don’t have user data to sell)
- ❌ Track your browsing behavior or history
- ❌ Require an account to use core features
Third-Party Services
Some Shotera features may rely on the following third-party services:
- Translation APIs: Image translation uses cloud provider translation interfaces
- Auto-updates: Version update checks are served through GitHub
We only work with reputable service providers and ensure their privacy protection standards meet applicable regulatory requirements.
Data Security
We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect the limited anonymous data collected through Shotera, preventing unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
Children’s Privacy
Shotera is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page, and we will notify you of significant changes through in-app notifications or announcements on our website.
