Shotera now supports Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Korean, Russian, Arabic, Dutch, Polish, and Swedish. Together with English and Simplified Chinese, Shotera supports 15 interface languages.
Do OCR and AI cutout need an internet connection?
No. OCR text recognition, AI background removal, and AI eraser (inpainting) all run entirely offline on your device — nothing is uploaded, keeping your data private. Image translation uses cloud APIs and complies with the respective cloud providers' privacy policies.
